Lamar Point

Lamar Point is located off Simpson and Lewis Streets on the west side of downtown McDonough, across the street from Rufus Stewart Park. Lamar Point is situated on 13 acres housing 39 units consisting of one, two, three, and four bedroom units. Each apartment has Energy Star appliances, central heat and air, an onsite playground, and washer and dryer connections. The buildings are 4-sided brick, and were built in 1957. The development is currently being completely modernized with upgraded kitchens and baths - 20 units were completed in 2013, and the rest are scheduled for completion by 2018.
